Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to help create a welcoming store atmosphere for customers and donors. You will operate the cash register, assist donors with their donations, and keep the donation center organized.

The role supports stocking, displays, and fundraising efforts at the register and beyond. The position offers flexible hours, a store discount, and access to Any Day Pay through Dayforce Wallet to access earned wages.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
• Support donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor. Keeps inside and outside of donation center organized and clean.
• Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through “round ups” at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.
