Our Family Friend is an award winning home care agency that has been helping seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes for over 15 years. We serve families throughout Chelsea, Dexter, Ann Arbor, Saline, Manchester, Grass Lake, and the Jackson area, and our care team is growing.

What your schedule can look like:

We build schedules around your life, with consistent weekly hours and the same clients every visit. Openings include overnight shifts (9 PM to 9 AM and 9 PM to 7 AM), full 12 hour day shifts where three shifts equal full time hours, daytime and evening blocks from 1 to 6 hours, and weekend shifts. Work a few hours a week or build a full time schedule.

What you'll do:

Companionship and a steady, reassuring presence, meal preparation, light housekeeping, help with dressing and personal care, medication reminders, and support that helps each client stay independent at home. You'll be matched with clients thoughtfully and see the same faces every week.

What we're looking for:

Dependable, warm caregivers who treat clients like family. Caregiving experience is valued, and so are the right instincts. CNA training is a plus but not required. You'll need reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.
