DC News Now, part of Nexstar Media Group, seeks a Non-Linear Editor to craft show opens, teases, pre-production content and special projects using Adobe Premiere Pro. The role requires creativity under tight deadlines and collaboration with executive producers and newsroom staff during breaking news.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of live broadcast experience, proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, and a detail-oriented multitasker able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in professional live broadcast atmosphere.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro Suite.
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to multitask in a fast-paced newsroom.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transfer and compile media into Adobe Premiere editing software.
• Edit and compose compelling, accurate news stories from video and audio resources.
• Multitask effectively in a time-sensitive newsroom.
• Collaborate with producers, photographers and managers to ensure broadcast quality and standards.
