Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Noninvasive Technician for its EKG team. In a fast-paced hospital setting, you will perform electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, Holter hookups, edits, charging and charting, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; current BLS certification (ACLS preferred); Basic Dysrhythmia; about one year of hospital EKG experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
• Successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia class.
• 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferably in the EKG department.

Hours of Work : 6am-6pm Days Of Week : Mon - Sun Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Noninvasive Technician performs day to day functions of the EKG department to include electrocardiograms, all treadmill stress tests, Holter monitor hook-up and scan, editing, charging and charting.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
• Successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia class
• 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferably in the EKG department preferred
