MDS Staffing is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive or Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join an established private cardiology and peripheral vascular practice in Jacksonville, Florida. The incoming cardiologist will provide office-based consultations as well as hospital-based rounding and consultation, with a strong referral network and diagnostic capabilities.

• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.

Responsibilities

Job description

An established, high-volume private cardiology and peripheral vascular practice in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive or Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing physician team.

This opportunity provides the incoming cardiologist with an established patient population, strong referral network, comprehensive in-office diagnostic capabilities, and experienced clinical support. The physician will have the opportunity to step directly into a busy practice rather than build a patient panel from the ground up.

Practice & Diagnostic Capabilities

The practice offers comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic and ancillary services, including:

• Nuclear cardiology, including SPECT and cardiac PET
• Advanced cardiac CT
• Echocardiography
• Vascular ultrasound
• Pacemaker/device checks
• Remote ECG monitoring
• Established venous services
• Peripheral vascular diagnostics
• Office-based procedural capabilities

The practice has a particularly strong peripheral vascular patient population and an established endovascular program. Because of this volume, the incoming cardiologist should be comfortable recognizing and managing both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.

A new ambulatory surgical facility is under development as part of the practice's continued expansion.

Hospital Practice

The physician will provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at a nearby hospital with comprehensive cardiovascular capabilities.

Patients are admitted through hospitalists or primary care physicians, allowing the cardiologists to function primarily as consultants rather than serving as the admitting physician.
