Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a non-invasive cardiology physician for locum tenens support in Milford, DE. Schedule typically Monday–Friday 8a–4:30p with on-call nights and one weekend per month. Inpatient with some outpatient duties, performing TEEs and non-invasive cases using EPIC EMR.

Candidates must be board certified in cardiology with BLS and ACLS, and hold Interstate licensure. Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days; malpractice insurance is arranged by AMN, with travel and lodging support.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in Cardiology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Locum tenens assignment with 30–60 day credentialing timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology care in inpatient setting with potential outpatient duties.
• Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures and TEEs as needed.
• Coordinate care with hospital team and manage on-call schedule.

This facility is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p; 1-2 nights of call per week; 1 weekend of call per month
• Practice Setting: Inpatient with the potential of some outpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures:Non invasive cardiology cases and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Must be board certified; Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Licensure required: Will accept an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact in hand
