Northeast Georgia Health System’s Georgia Heart Institute in Gainesville, GA, seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with expertise in structural heart imaging to join a high-volume program. The role emphasizes advanced imaging to support transcatheter therapies and multidisciplinary care, with opportunities in research and education.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging preferred.
• Expertise in multimodality imaging for structural heart disease.
• Level II or III competency in Echocardiography required.
• Ability to independently interpret TTE and TEE studies.
• Experience with structural heart programs (TAVR, MitraClip/TEER, LAA closure).
• Interest in clinical research, program development, and education is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-volume Structural Heart Program and collaborate with interventional teams.
• Independently interpret TTE and TEE studies.
• Support/transplant and collaborate with Structural Heart programs (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc).
• Engage in clinical research, education, and program development.
