Baptist Health South Florida in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute program, offering outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care in a collaborative, multi-specialty setting with a large supporting team.

This is a full-time position with academic affiliation to FIU and FAU, opportunities for research and 60+ clinical trials, generous benefits, CME allowance, tuition support, and the tax-friendly Florida environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Active license or eligibility by start date.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform non-invasive cardiac procedures.
• Perform preventive medicine and pharmacology.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for its new multi-specialty practice located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The physician will join a well-established program at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, which is comprised of fellowship-trained experts across all heart and vascular specialties and provides minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.

This position offers an opportunity to practice in a collaborative community-based environment in Pembroke Pines, Florida, while maintaining access to the tertiary resources of Baptist Health South Florida

Responsibilities include managing outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, non-invasive cardiac procedures, preventive medicine and pharmacology

Team includes more than 35 Advanced Practice Providers and the support of other non-clinical staff

BHSF is academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and engages in multi-disciplinary research, including 60+ clinical trials offering access to emerging therapies in cardiovascular care

Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care offers care at all hospitals and multiple specialty centers, including the nationally recognized flagship institutes - Miami Cardiac & BVascular Institute, and Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute

Qualifications:

Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing

Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship
