Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) in San Francisco seeks a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing cardiology practice. The role blends outpatient clinics with hospital-based services within an integrated cardiovascular program.

Preference for expertise in echocardiography, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI, with opportunities to develop additional clinical or imaging interests as the program expands.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Level III echocardiography preferred; imaging areas welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient cardiology.
• Active participation in the cardiology fellowship program, including teaching and working with fellows.
• Opportunity to develop and grow specialized clinical or imaging expertise.

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing San Francisco cardiology practice. The position combines outpatient cardiology and hospital-based service within an integrated cardiovascular program.

We are particularly interested in cardiologists with expertise or interest in echocardiography, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI. Candidates with additional clinical or imaging interests will have opportunities to further develop those areas as the program grows.

Practice Highlights

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient cardiology
• Established clinic structure with both in-person and video visits
• Fully integrated Epic EMR
• Robust nursing and clinical support, with advanced practice providers integrated into the care team
• Active participation in our cardiology fellowship program, including teaching and working with fellows
• A "privademic" practice model combining physician-led clinical practice with teaching, research opportunities, and academic engagement
• Opportunity to develop and grow specialized clinical or imaging expertise

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required by the department
• Level III training in echocardiography is preferred; expertise in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, or another complementary area is welcomed
