Job summary

UVA Community Health in Manassas, Virginia seeks a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our growing team. The role focuses on a broad range of cardiac care in a well-established group with on-site testing and three local hospitals.

The base compensation ranges from $486,286 to $663,569 for a 1.0 FTE, with additional incentive programs possible. Board eligibility/certification and Virginia licensure are required to practice.

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty (cardiology).
• Board eligible candidates must be scheduled for their boards.
• Energetic, motivated and collegial in a busy clinical environment.
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration.

Responsibilities

• Support patient volumes in clinic at three local acute care hospitals.
• Treat a wide variety of cardiac conditions and provide care post-heart attack and in chronic disease.
• Provide diagnostic testing, monitoring and treatment on-site.
• Office is accredited in echocardiography, vascular ultrasound and nuclear medicine.
• Maintain/participate in a 1:5 call schedule.
