The department offers mentorship for new graduates, a strong APP support structure, and opportunities to read nuclear, echo, and TEE studies within a robust cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with cardiovascular disease fellowship
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania before employment
• Board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in nuclear, echo and TEE interpretations as part of the multidisciplinary team

Job Description : The Allegheny Health Network's (AHN), Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is recruiting a Full-Time, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team serving the South Hills of Pittsburgh. This is an opportunity to join one of the premier cardiac programs in the country providing superior care and access to a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team of specialists and innovative therapies, including many available only through clinical trials. AHN’s Jefferson Hospital is a full service 348 bed facility offering minimally invasive thoracic and vascular surgery, 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab and an on-campus AHN Heart Center. The cardiology practice at Jefferson provides the full spectrum of cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Cardiac CT/MRI experience preferred
• Completion of ACGME approved Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• American Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
