Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute in Monroe, Georgia seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe. This role offers a path to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care within a nationally recognized health system.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient-centered care with an interest in cardiovascular imaging, research initiatives, and specialty programs, joining a collaborative network of cardiovascular specialists

Qualifications

• MD or DO, accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completion of Internal Medicine and Cardiology training programs.
• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical licensure.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Interpret and utilize non-invasive cardiovascular imaging studies.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular specialists, primary care physicians, APPs, and hospital staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support cardiovascular service line growth and development.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR.
• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in accordance with best clinical practices.
