Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship in cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Communicates with referring physicians, patients and their families.
• coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera, as needed.
• Educates patients and families on wellness and prevention of health problems.
• Maintains knowledge of current medical practices and skills.
