Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a full-time cardiologist to provide consultative services and manage cardiovascular care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, including CBOCs. You will interpret ECGs, Holter and event monitors, and echocardiograms as part of a dedicated patient care team.

This federal position offers a competitive pay range of $380,000–$400,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from LCME/COCA accredited schools (as applicable).
• For foreign medical graduates, ECFMG eligibility verification may be required.
• Licensure: full and unrestricted license from any US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs, Holter and event monitor recordings, and transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms and stress testing (treadmill/pharmacologic/nuclear).
• Provide consultative services and develop treatment plans for cardiovascular care across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings.
