Job summary

UNC Health Appalachian is seeking a Full Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Boone, North Carolina. This role offers a 4-day work week with no inpatient consults and is part of a collaborative cardiology team. The physician will oversee diagnostic cardiac procedures and must interpret Nuclear Stress Tests and Echo's. A competitive compensation package inclusive of sign-on and relocation bonuses, yearly CME stipend, health and retirement benefits is provided. Experience with EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must oversee diagnostic cardiac procedures: TEE & Cardioversions.
• Experience working with a full cardiology team is essential.
• Must possess skills to interpret various cardiac tests.

• Must work well with full Cardiology team that includes Interventional Cardiologists, Invasive & Non-Invasive Cardiologists as well as excellent APP's.
• Looking for a physician that can oversee diagnostic cardiac procedures: TEE & Cardioversions.
• Incoming physician must be able to interpret Nuclear Stress Tests & Echo's.
• 4-day work week, No Call, No Inpatient Consults
• EPIC experience a plus.
• Interpret Cardiac MRI and/or CCTA a plus.
• Compensation Includes: Sign On, Relocation, Competitive Base Salary + WRVU & Quality Incentive, Yearly CME Stipend, Vacation, Health & Retirement Benefits, Paid Malpractice.
