Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support K-2 students at the Upper Moreland Primary School. The role is part-time for 10 months with a starting hourly rate of $17.25, under the supervision of the assigned building principal.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting students on buses and field trips, maintaining safe and orderly learning environments, and contributing to data collection and material development as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.
• Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.

SUMMARY: Performs any combination of the following duties and responsibilities. An Instructional Assistant provides support to more than one student.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support and assistance to students

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to grasp and move. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may be required to push students in wheelchair/adaptive equipment.
