Job summary

PPS-HPS is seeking a hands-on Non-Ferrous Scrap Processing Associate to sort, process, and prepare metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel in an outdoor scrap and recycling environment. You will support daily production by maintaining material quality, safety, and yard organization.

Responsibilities include sorting metals by grade, operating basic tools and equipment, loading and staging materials, and keeping a clean, safe work area in compliance with PPE and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in scrap, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial labor is preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn material identification and processing procedures.
• Experience with equipment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and identify non-ferrous metals.
• Separate material by grade.
• Operate basic processing tools and equipment.
• Load and stage materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all PPE and safety requirements.
