Job summary

Stellar Transport of Jacksonville is hiring drivers for non-emergency medical transport. Immediate openings exist for full- or part-time roles requiring an LPN or EMT license, plus a valid Florida driver’s license. Training is provided; a clean driving record for 3 years is required.

CPR/First Aid and other certifications can be obtained before starting. You will transport riders in wheelchairs or stretcher-equipped vehicles, assist with transfers, and keep vehicles clean and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Patient care experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
• CPR/First Aid, PASS, Defensive Driving, FWA, HIPAA, and DOT Physical may be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Drive riders in wheelchairs and stretcher-capable vehicles safely and on time.
• Load/unload riders at facilities, homes, or hospitals as needed.
• Assist riders weighing 200lbs or more during transfers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
• Work 8–12 hour shifts; start times may vary from 3:30am to 9:00am.
• Ensure safety around service animals and administer oxygen if credentialed.
