Job summary

Work Experience Associates in Falconer, NY seeks a highly motivated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MT and PT inspections, document data, and support quality assurance to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards.

The role requires technical aptitude, a background in engineering/technical fields, and a willingness to pursue certifications. 2nd shift hours are provided with the listed compensation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in engineering/technical field preferred.
• Experience in materials testing or nondestructive testing preferred.
• Quality control/quality assurance background preferred.
• Engineering technician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing in-lab and in-field using MT & PT.
• Conduct destructive testing for various metals under supervision.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials.
• Enter raw data and analyze results, photograph samples.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance andQuality Excellence initiatives.
• Assist with certifications and routine preventive maintenance.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise inspection and testing of materials and components without causing damage, ensuring that products meet strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, support quality assurance processes, and uphold compliance with industry codes and standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Non-Destructive testing both in-lab and in-field using standard methods (MT & PT)
  
• Perform destructive testing for various metals under the direction of the Materials Testing Laboratory Manager
  
• Operation and maintenance of specialized equipment in a safe, efficient manner
  
• Perform quality control inspections on incoming materials
  
• Raw data entry and analysis
  
• Take incoming photos of samples
  
• Conduct first-level preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment used for testing.
  
• Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 standards and quality excellence.
  
• Self-study and prepare for certification exams.
  
• Performs other related duties as required.
  

Experience:

• Associates in a Engineering/Technical field (preferred)
  
• Experience in Materials Testing/Nondestructive Testing (preferred)
  
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience (preferred)
  
• Engineering Technician experience (preferred)

• Basic computer skills required for data entry and form generation
