Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT, is hiring a dedicated Non- Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our growing team. Full time and On-Call positions are available.

The CNA will perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed personnel and promote a compassionate environment. Requirements include completing a Nurse Assistant Training program and obtaining CNA certification within 120 days of hire; prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Completed a Nurse Assistant Training; Certificate required.
• Must obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 120-days of hire.
• Must relate positively to residents and families; work cooperatively with staff.
• Must meet health regulations and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and BP.
• Ambulate residents safely.
• Assist with lifting, transfers and positioning.
• Provide proper feeding while maintaining dignity.
• Maintain resident weights and records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and care team.

• Ambulate residents.
• Apply proper lifting and transferring techniques.
• Provide proper positioning and use of postural supports.
• Maintain residents’ positioning, as needed.
• Weigh residents on schedule and record weights accurately.
• Directly respond, within the scope of practice, to needs and concerns of residents and family members.
• Work with the care giving team to identify and resolve resident and family issues.
• Establish effective communication/interaction withresidents and families.
• Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and meeting the residents’ needs for socialization.
