Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time healthcare support professional for a Day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM). The role involves organizing test results, assisting physicians, and maintaining clean treatment areas.Requires high school graduation and BLS certification; 1+ year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm
• Organizes and reviews incoming test results and forwards them to the physician, tracking impending test results and following up with patients as needed.
• Recognizes and responds to emergencies.
• Performs tests and prepares specimens for outside lab testing as ordered by the physician.
• Maintains examination rooms and treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Manages inventory of clinical supplies, bio-hazardous waste, and sample medications, ensuring proper labeling, disposal, and sterilization of instruments.
