Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II - Non-Certified to install, inspect, test, and maintain medical electronic equipment across assigned areas. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Clinical Engineering, the Biomedical Equipment Technician II - Non-Certified is responsible for installations, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance performance testing and minor repairs of medical electronic equipment and systems in assigned areas of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and for Providence Sacred Heart Engineering Service clients. This position operates sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation. The incumbent analyzes data from inspections, performance tests, periodic maintenance and minor repairs of medical electronic equipment and prepares reports on findings.
