Job summary

Darragh is a fourth-generation, family-owned company in Arkansas supplying building materials since 1906. We seek a dependable loader/unloader to handle order assembly, palletizing, and delivery using a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer.

Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and safety. You will assist with loading and unloading at customer locations, maintain branch warehouse cleanliness, and help ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months experience; or combination of education and training or experience.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Health card required; Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and fills orders for shipment to customers and reviews orders for picking accuracy.
• Picks and prepares orders for will-call customers quickly, accurately and courteously.
• Loads materials onto pallets or crates and secures with strapping to prevent movement in transit.
• Safely assist in loading/unloading products at customer locations and returns to the branch.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse and yard to keep items organized.

You will utilize a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer to transport and deliver products when needed. Knowledge of the construction industry and concrete services a plus.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssembles and fills orders for shipment to customers then reviews all orders to ensure picking accuracy.Pulls and assembles orders for will call customers quickly, accurately, courteously, and respectfully.Loads materials onto pallets or into crates that contain products for transfer to all locations and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.Safely assist in the loading and unloading of the product to customers’ location and return products.
