Job summary

NFI is seeking a Spotter to drive, transport and spot trailers at loading docks and staging areas. You will attach drive units to trailers to move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.

The role requires inspecting trucks, reporting conditions, assisting in loading and unloading, and following safety procedures. At least 2 years of experience and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Attach drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports.

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Performs duties as instructed by management
• May be required to operate power industrial equipment
• At least 2 year experience in similar position
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
