Green Recycling in Bloomington, IL is hiring a dependable and safety‑focused Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full‑time, year‑round position with a five‑day workweek, home daily, and opportunities for growth.

You’ll operate our collection vehicle, service textile donation sites, and help keep clothing and footwear out of landfills. The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, DOT readiness, and a strong work

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card (FedMed) required.
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle along established routes.
• Collect clothing and footwear donations from bins and partner locations.
• Load and unload materials throughout the day.
• Transport collected materials to designated facilities.
• Complete route logs and required paperwork.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Represent Green Recycling professionally in the community.

Green Recycling is hiring a dependable and safety-focused Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to join our growing team in Bloomington, IL.

This is an active, hands‑on position for someone who enjoys working independently, staying physically active, and spending time on the road. You'll operate a company collection vehicle, service textile donation sites, and help keep reusable clothing and footwear out of local landfills.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires:
