Job summary

Moffitt Services in Texas is seeking a driver to operate a fuel delivery truck, load and unload bulk fuel, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries to customers.

You will maintain delivery records, follow safety rules, and coordinate with the logistics team; a clean driving record and Class C license are required. This role offers a rotating schedule (typically 5/2) with potential weekend/holiday work and local/regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure proper vehicle function.
• Maintain delivery records including quantities, locations, and customer signatures.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery stops.
• Collaborate with logistics to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes.
• Adhere to safety regulations including handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized delivery truck and stocked supplies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations.


• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.


• Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures.


• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.


• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.


• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.


• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly, and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.


• Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
