Job summary

US FOODS® is hiring a Non-CDL Driver in St. Louis, MO. Drive a company vehicle up to GVW 14,900 lbs, perform multi-stop deliveries, and ensure high service levels for customers.

Role requires loading/unloading, some hand cart use, and maintaining safety through pre/post-trip inspections. DOT compliance and valid license are required. Training provided; schedule Tue-Sat, starting around 8am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with any required endorsements.
• No commercial driving experience required; 1-year multi-stop delivery or 6 months local/foddservice delivery experience preferred.
• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely to customers in a timely manner.
• Unload products using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
• Move products with a hand truck; navigate stairs and delivery environments.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Document and manage any returned products.
• Report delivery or customer issues to supervisor or Customer Service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
