Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. in Houston, TX seeks an experienced delivery associate to transport bulk lubricant products and ensure accurate documentation at delivery. You will load and unload, follow routes efficiently, and maintain logs and warehouse organization.

The role requires compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards, safety training, and willingness to work weekends or extended hours as needed. Prior experience with fuel or lubricant deliveries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with commercial deliveries or fuel products preferred.
• DOT pre-employment drug testing required.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA standards including a Medical Certificate.
• Weekend/extended hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk lubricant products to customers following state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Record delivery information and ensure documentation is completed at delivery.
• Load/unload trucks and ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Maintain truck and delivery logs in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Follow delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet schedules.
• Ensure products are shipped, received, stored and allocated correctly within warehouse.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as trained.
• Provide service and communicate customer needs to the appropriate department.
• Participate in monthly/annual inventories and maintain a safe warehouse appearance.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Deliver bulk lubricant products to customers in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Records delivery information to ensure all appropriate documentation is completed at the time of delivery.
• Load/unload trucks with incoming/outgoing orders ensuring proper handling and storage of products.
• Maintain truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Follow company delivery route to ensure maximum efficiency of deliveries.
• Ensure products are shipped, received, stored, and allocated correctly and accurately within warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications and making suitable skids/pallets.
• Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed.
• Provide service to customers and communicates customer needs and inquiries to appropriate department for follow-up.
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
• Maintain the physical appearance of warehouse in a safe and orderly manner.
• Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Previous experience with commercial deliveries and/or fuel or lubricant products preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete DOT required pre-employment drug testing.
• Must meet and maintain all applicable DOT and FMCSA qualification standards, including a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Prior commercial driving and warehouse experience PREFERRED.
• Availability to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
