Ferguson in Pittsburgh is hiring a delivery driver to support our customers with timely material deliveries and returns. You’ll help load/unload goods, verify items, and maintain safety and quality on every route. This role emphasizes customer service, accurate records, and reliable daily attendance in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a weekday schedule, competitive pay, and benefits. Prior delivery/warehouse experience is valued, along with familiarity with tablets and warehouse

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state driver license required.
• 1–3 years delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate iPads and Warehouse Management systems.

Mansioni

• Deliver materials to the customer, including loading/unloading assistance and ensuring delivery ticket accuracy.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving and stocking materials.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to PPE usage and safety weight restrictions.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm, or until route completion

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid state issued license is required
• 1-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly and 90lbs occasionally
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Comfortable working in fast pace changing environment
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology and software, including iPads and Warehouse Management systems

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Pay Range:

$15.61 - $23.41

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
