PITT OHIO is seeking a Non CDL Driver Apprentice at our Norristown, PA location. This entry-level program starts with dock training and leads to the ability to drive non-commercial vehicles, with opportunities to progress to commercial CDL driving as you advance.

The role offers a path to a career in transportation with overtime after 40 hours, competitive pay, and strong benefits. You will be part of a team that emphasizes safety, service, and respect for employees in a modern facility.

Competenze

• Must be at least 17 years old; recent high school graduates preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical examination.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen with negative result.
• No disqualifying MVR or driving record within the 36-month period prior to the order date.
• Ability to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Consent to a background check and to driver-facing event recorders in the fleet.

Mansioni

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements.
• Sort and secure items on trucks and docks to prevent damage.
• Heavy lifting of cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums.
• Operate non-commercial vehicles safely and inspect vehicle condition.
• Ensure required shipping documents are available for inspection.
