Job summary

Imperial Brady in Hutto, TX is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to deliver products to stops, unload with a pallet jack and dolly, and provide excellent customer service. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or until route completion.

You will load/unload cargo, document activity, coordinate with dispatch, and perform pre/post-trip truck inspections. Must have 1 year delivery experience, be able to lift 50+ pounds, and pass applicable DOT exams.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year route delivery experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience with pallet jack and hand truck.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unaided.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and Non-DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW.
• Load and unload cargo using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document the activity log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, or until the daily route is completed.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You have:

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
