Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Canal Fulton, OH. You will transport orders safely and on schedule, providing friendly customer service and professionalism at every stop.

In this role you may assist in the Yard to meet weekly hours if deliveries slow. We value teamwork, reliability, and a customer-first attitude as you help customers and grow with our expanding company.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials and large items.
• Familiarity with delivery equipment and building materials is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player and provide friendly customer service.
• This position is for the Canal Fulton, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to customers safely and in a timely manner using a company vehicle.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met while delivering friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist in the Yard when deliveries slow to reach weekly hours.

As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
• This position will be for our facility located in Canal Fulton, OH
