Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking a Delivery Driver (Non CDL) in Saint Rose, LA to make safe, on-time deliveries within a defined service area. You will load/unload goods, inspect vehicles, and maintain accurate records while providing excellent customer service.

A valid license and clean MVR are required, with DOT-compliant pre/post-trip inspections performed regularly. The role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, efficient routing, and regular communication with the distribution center

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Wholesale/distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area and interfaces with customers on order issues.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure orders and routes are complete and accurate.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintains contact with the distribution center for delivery interruptions or missing orders.
• Provides updates to customers on delivery statuses and handles escalated issues.
