Job summary

NYC Delivery LLC in Carteret, NJ is hiring a Non CDL Delivery Driver and Package Courier to service the local Amazon Delivery Service Partner network. Starting pay is $23.75 per hour, with shifts from 7:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M., seven days a week, and an Amazon-branded 26 ft vehicle provided.

No prior delivery experience or CDL required. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO and bonuses, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement within the local operation.

Responsibilities

• Report to the warehouse each morning at our Carteret, NJ location for daily loadout
• Load and unload your delivery vehicle with packages assigned to your delivery route
• Follow the GPS-navigated delivery route to complete all deliveries safely and efficiently
• Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle throughout the day
• Return to the warehouse at the end of your shift to complete closeout procedures
• Communicate any delivery issues or vehicle concerns to management promptly

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Driver License
• Eligible to work in the U.S
• Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable driving a 26 ft. delivery vehicle in varying weather and traffic conditions
• Must maintain a safe driving record and obey all applicable traffic laws
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location
