Job summary

Builders FirstSource in the United States is seeking a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will follow safety rules, ensure on-time arrivals, and provide professional service as a liaison between BFS and customers.

This non-CDL role covers operating equipment, verifying orders, keeping delivery logs, and supporting safety programs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license, pass an MVR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old and valid driver's license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds, occasionally up to 200.

Responsibilities

• Loads and secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers orders to customer sites and unloads safely.
• Verifies order details and maintains delivery logs.
• Acts as a customer service liaison and resolves issues.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety checks.
• Uses hand-held devices to comply with DVIR and HOS.
• Records hours of service and pre/post trip inspections.
• Operates forklift or manual handling equipment as needed.
