Job summary

Rexel USA is hiring a Truck Driver to join the Mayer Team in Panama City, FL. This full-time position delivers products to customers and branch locations with a box truck, no CDL required.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, loading, documentation, and supporting branch operations. Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a valid license, understand DOT rules, and can manage time efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record review
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended license or at-fault accidents in 3 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced and maintained; report repairs
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws
• Load/unload material and verify order accuracy
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Ensure delivery documents are completed and signed
• Pick up returns and inspect condition and quantities
• Pick up material from suppliers
• Mentor and train entry level drivers
• May perform additional branch duties as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
