Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. You will ensure accurate deliveries, follow scheduled routes, and maintain paperwork while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates are proficient in handling large vehicles, with a clean driving record, able to lift 25 pounds, and provide excellent customer service. DOT requirements apply; compensation includes weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• DOT physical required.
• Experience operating large vehicles preferred.
• Able to lift 25 pounds and perform manual tasks.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or GPS to determine and track daily route.
• Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
• Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into vehicle and unload as needed.
• Match inventory to manifest and delivery documents.
• Confirm delivery with recipient; collect signature and/or payments.
• Deliver goods to client-specified locations.
• Coordinate with warehouse on delivery progress.
• Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and submit at end of shift.
• Report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to road safety rules and company/state regulations.
• Follow all loading/unloading safety requirements.
