Rexel USA in Hartford, CT is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team. You will deliver products to customers, company branches, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, loading/unloading, and completing delivery documents. You will follow DOT regulations, maintain records, and may assist with orders and returns. Training and mentorship are provided.

Competenze

• Must attend company driver training if no prior experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Mansioni

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT and local/state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify material for each order is correct and undamaged.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documents and obtain customer signature on delivery receipt.
• Pickup material returns from customers and verify condition and quantities.
• Pickup material from suppliers.
• Senior Driver will train entry-level drivers and provide coaching.
• May perform other duties at branch (counter sales, stocking, shipping, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
