Qualifications

• Possession of a valid drivers license.
• Ability to read road maps and determine safe routes.
• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques and traffic rules.
• Ability to load cargo safely using tie-downs.
• Capable of inspecting vehicles and reporting maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of state/local safety rules for operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicle to transport materials, supplies, or equipment.
• Ensure equipment is configured to the bill of lading.
• Load, secure, and deliver materials in a safe and timely manner.
• Complete and process paperwork.
• Maintain a safe vehicle and comply with all government regulatory laws.
