Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver to support both commercial accounts and DIY customers with automotive parts and advice. You’ll use company vehicles to deliver parts, assist customers, and uphold safety standards across routes.

The role emphasizes accurate loading/unloading, timely deliveries, and strong teamwork with store staff to ensure a smooth shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting commercial customers and DIY shoppers with automotive advice and installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to maintain smooth teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and ensure safe, timely deliveries of parts to commercial customers; load/unload per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies for a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely according to policy.
• Keep delivery vehicles well-maintained and report issues promptly.
