Non CDL Delivery Driver (Transportation)

Job Summary

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks featuring newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationwide and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a parcel van and/or straight truck to transport medical products to local customers. This role is vital in building positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Load and secure products from the Medline Facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck.
• Safely operate the vehicle between the facility and customer destinations, adhering to safety regulations and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, ensuring punctuality.
• Provide in-person support, address customer questions, and supply appropriate documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs and safety standards.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per Federal, State regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.

Required Experience:

• Valid US driver's license and, if required by state, a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) for Class B License.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operating commercial vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $18.75 - $26.25 per hour. Actual salary depends on location, experience, skills, and other factors. Minimum wage applies as per law.
