Job summary

Imperial Dade seeks a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Stockton to run a daily route, delivering foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies. You will unload with a pallet jack and dolly, ensure accurate logs, and provide excellent customer service to our business customers.

The role starts early (5:00 am) and runs Monday–Friday, with a focus on safety, reliability, and professional communication with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations along a daily route.
• Unload and load cargo using hand, pallet jack, and dolly.
• Maintain an activity log and report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude.

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:00 am-1:30 pm or until finished.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
