Responsibilities

• Check vehicle maintenance and count daily truckload with warehouse staff before leaving DC.
• Complete all assigned stops with professional and courteous service.
• Check-in merchandise with receiving personnel and follow credit policies.
• Rotate and merchandise products on shelves, displays, and storage areas.
• Safeguard invoices, cash, checks and other company property.
• Prepare internal records, invoices and reports accurately.
• Operate company equipment safely per guidelines and keep truck clean.
• Communicate with Operations or Warehouse Manager as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We operate in all 72 counties of Wisconsin, serving over 11,000 licensed retail business customers. We employ 900 people and aim to be the trusted distributor partner of our suppliers and customers to advance the beverage business and support our employees’ growth.

Responsibilities

Delivery drivers deliver GB products to assigned accounts in a professional and timely manner. They may also be responsible for rotating and merchandising products.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and lift test

Requirements

• Check vehicle maintenance checklist and count daily truckload with warehouse personnel and verify against load sheets before leaving distribution center
• Complete all assigned stops with professional and courteous service
• Check-in merchandise with the responsible receiving individual and follow company credit policies and procedures
• Rotate and merchandise products, including stocking shelves, displays, coolers and storage rooms as needed
• Safeguard and account for company invoices, cash, checks and other forms of payment and all company property under their control
• Complete internal control records, invoices and reports properly and accurately
• Operate company equipment safely and according to company guidelines
• Keep truck neat and clean and report all equipment service problems in a timely manner
• Communicate with Operations or Warehouse Manager on questions and/or issues, preparing driver notes as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
