Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Delivery Driver for an Idaho route in Boise. You will deliver and merchandise our beverage products to various retailers on a scheduled route.

Responsibilities include safe driving, unloading with pallet jack or hand truck, verifying orders, stocking displays, and coordinating with sales reps. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 20–30 lbs regularly are required.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to maneuver a hand truck with product.
• Capable of lifting 20–30 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned route delivering product safely and on time.
• Unload product using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Check product in with store personnel and verify orders.
• Fill cooler and shelf space, rotate products per standards.
• Collect invoices and complete route paperwork daily.
• Communicate with sales representatives and store staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is on an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Check product in with store personnel.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
• Rotate all product according to company standards.
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20- 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
