Job summary

Prosource-LL is seeking a Driver to safely transport cargo between branch locations. This role requires planning efficient routes, minimizing delivery times, and ensuring cargo arrives in good condition.

You will use GPS and mapping tools to select the best paths, perform pre-trip checks, maintain mileage and expense records, and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained. A high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver's license, and a dependable, punctual work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid and Current Driver’s license.
• Possess an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and navigate vehicle.
• Ability to understand and operate GPS technology and other relevant apps for travel.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Adaptability to fast-paced and changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans travel routes to optimize delivery times.
• Uses GPS/maps to avoid traffic and choose shortest safe routes.
• Arrives on time at delivery locations.
• Drives cargo to destination safely and accurately.
• Maintains travel expense records.
• Ensures vehicle maintenance is up-to-date and checks for issues.
• Keeps vehicle clean and orderly.
• Reviews orders prior to delivery.
• Obtains necessary delivery confirmations.
