Job summary

Artifintech in Plano, Texas is seeking a skilled backend-focused software engineer to design and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices. You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frameworks to deliver scalable services, while collaborating with frontend teams to ensure seamless user experiences.

You'll optimize database schemas across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, deploy production-ready apps on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS), and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or Fastify) and TypeScript.
• Optimize complex queries and schema designs across relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases, including Redis caching.
• Deploy and manage production‑grade applications using core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend teams, using React to build seamless user interfaces and ensure end‑to‑end functionality.
