Job summary

UST is seeking a NodeJS Software Developer to build and maintain backend services and REST APIs. You will design microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes code quality, documentation, and agile participation.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years in backend development with Node.js, Express/Fastify, and Docker/Kubernetes, plus SQL Server and Git. Some knowledge of React.js and API security is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of software development experience with Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server and Git.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and SonarQube for CI/CD and quality checks.
• Nice to have React.js knowledge and OAuth 2.0/JWT basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end services and REST APIs.
• Design and implement microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, task estimation, and code reviews.
• Ensure code quality with best practices, version control, and static analysis.
