Job summary

University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute (UMROI) in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Nocturnist Physician to join our Hospital Medicine service. You will provide inpatient care during night shifts, perform rounds, and help with discharge planning within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate is BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, holds an active Maryland license, and has BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS licenses.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Maryland license (active).
• Strong inpatient skill set and ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team.
• MD license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS license required.
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication, commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admissions, physical exams, tests, rounds and discharge planning.
• Operate within a flexible block schedule and a low census environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and advanced practice providers.
