Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System – Olathe Campus is seeking a full‑time Nocturnist to join our Department of Medicine. This academic medical center emphasizes high‑quality inpatient care, teaching, and research, with a strong commitment to scholarly collaboration with students and fellows.

The physician will provide nocturnal coverage across inpatient services and participate in call duties, supported by full sub‑specialty resources. Licensure eligibility in Kansas and Missouri is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required for practice.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist coverage for inpatient services.
• Participate in call duties per hospitalist schedules.
• Engage in teaching, research, and scholarly activities as an academic medical center.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver high‑quality care.
