Job summary

Sound Physicians in Dallas, Texas is seeking a nocturnist Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care on an overnight schedule. The role includes a 7-nights-on, 7-days-off rotation, with collaboration from a remote APP for pager calls and robust support from a night team.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified or eligible Acute NP, open to new graduates, authorized to work in the United States, and attracted to a community-oriented, collaborative practice with full benefits and CME

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible Acute Nurse Practitioner.
• Open to new graduates.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Remote APP handles pager calls for 4–6 hours from home; bedside eval forwarded to in-house night APP.
• In-house night APP assigns pt cases for the next day; 3–5 bedside calls per night and ~50 pages.
• Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist on staff; no procedures required.
